About Aimee

Aimee is our Wild Child Officer, hosted by Staffordshire Wildlife Trust, her role is to engage and reconnect children and families with the natural environment that surrounds them through outdoor play and learning. She will be working with a team of volunteers and sessional workers to deliver Wildlings (for 1-5 year olds), Wildplay (for 6-13 year olds) and Wildfamilies sessions in the South West Peak.

Aimee started out her career working in the Highlands of Scotland for Whale and Dolphin Conservation providing visitor engagement and activities to members of the public and in particular children. For the past two years she has worked for both Shropshire Wildlife Trust and now Staffordshire Wildlife Trust in various roles delivering environmental education and family activities across the counties. Aimee has various qualifications from BSc Conservation Biology and Ecology, to NVQ Level 2 work based qualification in Environmental Conservation and Level 2 Award in Coastal Activity Leader Training.

Aimee lets her love for the outdoors shine through when delivering activities such as Bushcraft, bug hunting, pond dipping and good old fashioned den building the South West Peak.
