Sara is the Scheme Support Officer, hosted by the Peak District National Park Authority. Sara provides financial, administrative and GIS/Earthlight support to the partnership as well as assisting the Manager with HLF claims and reports.
With a BSc Honours degree in Palaeontology and majors in Geology and Botany, Sara worked across Africa in the exploration and mining sector before setting up and managing a Geological consultancy in Cape Town, South Africa.
She returned to the UK (after a 2 year sojourn in France!) in 2013 and moved to the Peak District in 2014. Having lived in and travelled to many places around the world, Sara loves living in the Peak District National Park and enjoys walking (with her South African Staffie and Labrador), photography and gardening.
