Level 1 building and landscape survey

Scheduled level 1 building and landscape survey – 24^th and 25^th June 2021

This survey is on Thursday 24th June and Friday 25th June for those volunteers who complete the online training on Wednesday the 23rd June to get out and practise, and for all those other volunteers already trained in level 1 building and landscape survey and want to get together with other volunteers to carry out fieldwork.

Those who have not yet done the training and intend to do it on Wednesday 23rd will be able to sign up but won't be assigned until after they have completed the training.

I will be along in person to support those newly qualified volunteers and others who need the support, but it is hoped more experienced surveyors will be able to come along and help those who need it too.

There are a number of incomplete grid squares and I am hoping we can finish off some of these off over these two days, so depending on numbers and experience we may split up and be in different places. The grid squares I am looking at are SK0857 (Butterton/Warslow and Elkstones); SK0860 (Warslow and Elkstones/Fawfieldhead); SJ9572 (Macclesfield Forest & Wildboarclough/Sutton/Macclesfield); and SJ9479 (Pott Shrigley/Bollington). What we don't complete will be carried over to scheduled survey days in July and August.
