Description

Preparing an Archaeological Archive:

We will be completing the preparation of the "Peeling Back the Layers" archive on Thursday 6th and Friday 7th February at:

The Dove Valley Centre, Under Whitle Farm, Sheen, nr Longnor, SK17 OPR

10am until 4pm

Come on one or both days, for as little or as long as you like, but we are hoping that by the end of the Friday we will have everything pretty much ready to go to the Potteries Museum.

You are welcome to come along and help even if you didn't take part in the original Peeling Back the Layers Project or the workshop on archiving in October 2019. Much of the work will involve re-bagging and re-labelling 19th Century pottery and putting it in boxes. Instruction will be given.

For details of the project, see here: http://www.peelingbackthelayers.org/
