Description

We have some exciting tree planting activities coming up in the next few weeks with a range of local tree species to be planted to help improve water quality, sequester carbon and create new habitats.

This is our second day at Dunlea planting trees. With 750 trees planted already there are 720 more to go, so the more help the merrier.

Meeting point is at Harvey Gate, Blakelow Road, Onecote, ST13 7SG.

Meet Andy Farmer (07973 848384) and Dave Cooper at 9:30am followed by a short walk to the planting site. We will finish at 3pm so please bring lunch and refreshments with you

Sturdy footwear and warm, waterproof clothing is a necessity.

Equipment will be supplied but please bring your own spade and gloves if you would like to.

To ensure the health and safety of our staff and volunteers please do not attend the activity if you, any member of your household, or somebody you have been in close contact with: have symptoms of (or likely to be of) Covid-19; have recently tested positive for Covid-19; are awaiting the results of a PCR test; or have been asked to self-isolate. If you are able to take a Lateral Flow Test before joining us please do so.

Social distancing measures will be in place at all times and we ask you to follow these and respect each other.
