Now Hiring for Farm Link Worker!

15 May 2018

Do you have a farming background or a good working knowledge of farming and land management?

Are you familiar with the Staffordshire Moorlands, Cheshire East or High Peak parts of the Peak District?

Do you want to make a positive difference to the landscape in this area?

If so, we are looking for someone like you to become a vital part of our new Landscape Partnership team working with various partners and stakeholders in the South West Peak.

Farm Link Workers

This role will be largely field based, visiting farms and smallholdings, talking with farmers and land managers, disseminating information, developing networks and discussing ways in which the Landscape Partnership can help and support land management across the area. You will need to possess excellent communication skills, have a passion for safeguarding the landscape and be able to bring together people with different interests. Crucially, you will also need to develop trust within the farming community as the ‘go to’ person for information or advice relating to the Partnership. Conditions of employment for this post include flexible working options and a childcare voucher scheme.
